"Wild
Boars" are abundant in the brush country of the South
Texas plains. They were once raised in great numbers
as domesticated livestock, primarily for their hair.
(Used in the manufacturing of all kinds of brushes)
With
the advent of synthetics, thousands were set free, and
reverted to their wild nature. Notice the narrow hips,
humped back above the shoulders, and long snout - all
characteristic of good "Russian Boar"
genetics.
This
one was trapped by a local rancher, who is raising it
along with it's young.
